Family Bushcraft
Have you ever fancied building a shelter with your Dad or showing your Mum how you can cook her supper over a campfire? How about making willow baskets, tracking wild animals or learning how to navigate by the stars? Your family camping trips will never be the same again after attending one of our family bushcraft weekends!
What's Included?
- All food and accommodation in hammocks or Tipi’s
- All equipment, tools and outdoor clothing, required for wild camping trips to remote locations.
- Emergency Transport (4-wheel drive vehicle)
- Wild camping in areas of outstanding beauty
During the camp you will learn some of the following skills:
- Primitive fire making techniques
- Identifying Wild foods and Medicinal plants- woodland and coastal
- Shelter Building
- Safe use of cutting tools
- Carving techniques
- Making vessels for eating and harvesting such as bowls, plates and baskets
- Navigation by the stars
- Animal tracks and signs
- How to camp leaving no trace and how to enhance the natural landscape through which you have been traveling.
- Advance courses include basic canoeing and mountaineering skills
- And much, much more!
