Three Woodland Day Trips to Glen Affric:
Spirits of the Forest:
For P3/4’s that explores The Ancient Caledonian Forest through learning about how it was in the past, is in the present, and we hope it to be in the future.Mission Sylvestris:
For P5/6. Participants are employed as ‘Green Agents’ and report on the health of the forest through learning about species identification and topics such as biodiversity.
Active Custodians:
A day for P6/7’s to roll up their sleeves and carry out a conservation activity.Our day trips offer an imaginary, hands-on experience of the forest that is linked to the national curriculum and takes into account the new 'curriculum for excellence'. Spirits of the Forest and Mission Sylvestris have education packs to accompany the day.
Booking Information:
We are able to take groups of up to 15 children and 1 accompanying adult, dependant on the age group of the children.In order to make the day as hassle free as possible for all the lovely, hardworking teachers, we will pick your group up from school at 9am and drop you back at your school between 3pm and 5pm. The drop off times do vary dependant on the location of the school and the type of day trip booked. Confirmation of drop off times will be made upon booking your Wild things! trip.
